Disputes and refunds

Navigating the world of advertising collaborations can sometimes be complex, and while Lit.so is designed to facilitate smooth transactions between advertisers and influencers, we acknowledge that challenges may arise. In such instances, our structured dispute and refund system ensures fairness and clarity for all involved parties.

Requesting Refunds #

As an advertiser, you have the right to ensure that the collaborations align with your expectations. If an order doesn’t proceed as planned, whether due to delivery issues or disagreements regarding the terms of the rented space, you can request a refund.

Here’s how:

  1. Initiate a Refund Request: Navigate to the specific order and opt to request a refund, detailing your reasons and concerns, using the message tool.
  2. Influencer’s Response: Once the refund is requested, the influencer will review it. If both parties are in agreement, the influencer will promptly issue the refund.

Mediation & Dispute Resolution #

In instances where there’s a challenge in obtaining the refund, yet you’re confident of your entitlement to it, you can escalate the matter for further resolution:

  1. Open a Dispute & Request Mediation: From the order in question, choose to open a dispute, and if you cannot come to a resolution with the influencer directly, request mediation. Providing all necessary details and evidence supporting your claim, within the message system.
  2. Engage with the Mediation Team: Our dedicated Lit.so mediation team will step in, carefully reviewing the case details, communications, and any provided evidence. We may contact you privately at this stage to ensure you have the freedom to communicate directly with us.
  3. Resolution: After a thorough assessment, the mediation team may decide to issue a refund if they determine the claim is reasonable.

Receiving Refunds #

Should your refund be approved, either through mutual agreement with the influencer or after mediation, funds will be reverted back via your original payment method, ensuring a straightforward and efficient refund process.

We strive for a seamless and transparent experience for our advertisers. We understand the significance of each order, and in the rare instances when disputes arise, our commitment is to offer a fair, efficient, and supportive resolution process.
