About me

“ .LwandoMbelu is a South African Actor,TV and Radio presenter. Born and raised in a small town called Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape, from a very young age Lwando has always been extremely fascinated by the world of media and performance art. After being in school and res plays, in 2013 he joined the University of Johannesburg arts centre drama company to polish his performance skills where performed in productions such as Marat/Sade directed by Alby Micheal’s and acted along side some of South Africa’s seasoned actors. In 2014 he took a leap of faith and entered craz-e presenter search for etv which he later won and was his introduction to the entertainment industry. Lwando was then head hunted by sabc1 youth programme Yotv which he became a presenter for 3 years. He has MC’d countless shows and corporate events, performed in theatre productions,appeared in adverts and has had a cameo role on uBettina Wethu on sabc1 since 2021. He has been a Radio presenter and producer for Joburg Pulse Radio and producer for the City of Johannesburg metropolitan municipality, carried social media campaigns amongst many responsibilities.Lwando is a highly ambitious young man who would like to see himself as a household name,seasoned actor and Television and Radio presenter, successful business man and a media mogul.
