Background
The current project proposal focus on implementing the competition contest for Kwaito Zone Facebook Group members. The competition aims to give-away 500 free t-shirts and hats ,"combo" valued at $10 per set. The purpose is to promote Kwaito Zone brand and the Kwaito music genre..

Goals
Our goal is to position our brand as the face of kwaito music, to attract more followers including musicians, artists and writters.

Project
For the purpose of brand development, we plan to produce 500 t-shirts and hats merchandise, with prints of Kwaito Zone logo, and invite Kwaito Zone members to participate in a competition and win free prizes.

The competition will be promoted through popular musician, soundtrack, influencer outreach, photo and vodeo ads, Facebook and paid advertisement.

We also plan to collaborate with popular media personality, Bonkosi Dlamini, professionally known as Zola7, to promote the campaign.

Bonginkosi Dlamini, is a South African kwaito musician, actor, writer, TV presenter, and poet. He began his career as an actor, achieving national recognition in the television series, "Yizo Yizo". He also starred in the Award winning movie Drum, and a hit Academy Award winning film Tsotsi in 2005, for which he also wrote the musical score. As a musician he also won several music awards for both South African Music Awards and Metro FM Awards.

Through Zola7, we plan to develop promotional images and videos and soundtrack, for the ad campaign. We plan to promote the campaign through paid advertisement on social media.

The Competition
The competition consist of two categories:
1. The first entry is open to adult members between 24 years and 44 years
2. The second entry is for members contesting on behalf of their children between 5 years and 10 years.
 
The group Admin will post 280 competition Ads for two months and announce twenty winners per day. To enter the competition, members will be asked to like Ads, share Ads, comment and follow the client's Facebook account.

Winners will be selected random daily and prizes will be delivered through PEP Store PAXI services. The t-shirt winners will collect their prizes at their nearest PEP Store. The competition runs for 8 weeks, two months, with 140 t-shirts disributed weekly.

Target market
Membership is over 381K with 23% Females and 77% males, of avarage age between 24 years and 44 years. We cover major cities including Durban, Capetown, Gaborone  (Botswana), Johannesburg, Pretoria, Maseru (Lesotho), Port Elizabeth, Pietermarizburg and Bloemfontein. 

Budget
We would like to run a series of ads on YouTube and Facebook to promote our clients products and services. The monthly group posts are 5.6K, comments 87K and 632K reactions. With these projections we target the entry of 500 members per day and expect to bring in 10000 new followers per month, at a cost of $10,000.

Project resource
In orde to successfully implement the project, we need resources including T-shirts and hats merchandise, Photo and video production, Dancers, Musician fees, Music production, Graphic designer, Marketing, T-shirts delivery fees, Project manager, Project assistance and Project admin 10%.
