After extensive consultation with Brands and Agencies in South Africa we have made (and still are making) a few changes to the way Lit.so operates.
Our core focus at the moment is to ensure that both Influencers and Brands are able to easily understand the offering, while providing value to both sides.
Campaign changes
Moving forward, whenever a campaign is created, you will be notified via email. You will then have the opportunity to be part of that campaign. Once the email is received, click the link on the email to indicate if you’d like to be part of that campaign and indicate your pricing.
After a few days, the agency or brand will select which influencers they’d like to use. If you’re accepted into the campaign you will receive an email. From that point on communication between yourself and the brand for that order will be handled on the platform. Once your post goes live the brand will be notified and you will be paid.
Spaces are now bundles
Spaces are no longer called spaces. We found that this term caused a bit of confusion. They are now called “Bundles”. A bundle is a simple way to package together an offering for a brand. An example of a bundle would be where an influencer will offer a post on X, FB and TikTok for one price. This means the brand will receive a bundle of posts on different platforms for one price.
Action required from all Influencers
It is important for all influencers to do the following:
- Ensure each of their platforms (X, TikTok, Insta, etc) have a price set
- We suggest R85 per 1000 engagements.
- X: R85 per 1000 post impressions
- TikTok: Per R25 per 1000 video views
- Instagram: R85 per 1000 likes
- FB Reels: R25 per 1000 views
- Newsletter: R85 per 1000 subscribers
- Twitch: R85 per 1000 average views
- Blog: R85 per 1000 unique readers per blog post
- YouTube: R85 per 1000 subscribers
- Pricing is subjective and you are in control. We do however suggest you do not overprice or underprice yourself. Chat with us if you need help here.
- We suggest R85 per 1000 engagements.
- Ensure each of your platforms have the correct categories set.
- This is important – whenever a campaign is created, the brands will select the categories of influencers to be part of that campaign. If you’re in that category, you will receive an invite to be part of that campaign.
- Ensure your profile has a profile photo.
